Development of prototypes

What is a prototype?

A prototype is a sub-project upstream or downstream of the main project in which isolated aspects of the project objectives are examined in more detail. The subproject serves to prepare the main project or to minimize risks during the implementation of the main project.

The artifacts (code, documentation, etc.) of evolutionary prototypes are incorporated into the main project and are used further. They are therefore produced according to the quality specifications and guidelines of the main project.
